Artificial Intelligence is progressing more rapidly than ever before. The emergence of Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT-4 could greatly enhance organizational efficiency, improve knowledge management, revolutionize support for frontline workers, and provide new ways to serve clients. 

Our shared challenge is to ensure that the benefits of this new technology are effectively distributed, that its significant risks are managed responsibly, and that efforts to leverage AI are guided by local expertise and priorities.

To meet this challenge, Dimagi is developing Open Chat Studio.

Introducing Open Chat Studio

  • An easy-to-use, open-source platform to develop and test LLM-based chatbots
  • Works with any LLM with an API such as the GPT-4 API
  • Enables a variety of guardrails to improve the safety and accuracy of chatbots
  • Can be deployed on the web, over Telegram and WhatsApp with SMS and other messaging platforms coming soon
  • Supports research to assess chatbots on a wide range of measures.
